In todays environmentally, aware world everyone should be into recycling. Here are some tips on what will help you make the best out of recycling metals. Remember – all metals are recyclable – at Total Metal Recyclers Pty Ltd our focus is the nonferrous metals but we will take all metals to get them into the recycling system.
- Get a magnet. As a general rule if a magnet does not stick to the metal it is non-ferrous and is worth more than if the magnet sticks.
- Clean the products. Keep different metals separate and as clean as possible. Contamination with other metals will devalue the metal
- Sell the metals sorted. Present different metals together – copper with copper, aluminium with aluminium, brass with brass etc.
